Cherrytrees has worked closely with the Village Hall Committee to ensure that the premises complies with all Covid-19 regulations, guidelines and precautions to minimise the spread of coronavirus and to keep users safe.
Cherrytrees will re-open in September with all these restrictions in place.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE HALL THERE IS A ONE WAY SYSTEM
There is a large car park with no restrictions as to where you park. You will see steps up to the entrance door some of which will have a tape barrier across and a sign which directs you to the right. Please respect the one way system and walk up to the entrance door via the slope and depart via the steps.
On the wall to the left just before the entrance doors, there is a hand sanitising station. We will ask you to wash your hands before coming into the hall but you may use this station as well if you wish. For the time being the two double glass entrance doors will be left open.
WASHING HANDS BEFORE ENTERING HALL
Once inside the vestibule please abide by the 2m social distancing guidance. There is no need to wear a face mask unless you wish to do so. Please wash your hands in the disabled facility which is down the corridor on the right. There is a marker on the floor outside should you need to wait for another family to finish washing their hands. Please then wait on the marker outside the main hall door for a member of staff to let you in.
INSIDE THE HALL
Please sign in. Please keep socially distanced from other adults, members of staff and other people's children as much as possible. All tables, chairs, mats, equipment, toilets, basins and the floor will be cleaned every morning.
LEAVING THE HALL
Please wait for a member of staff to let you out. This is so the door can be secured afterwards. Leave the premises via the steps.
Please be assured that there are rigorous infection control systems in place however it will be the responsibility of all families not to bring children into the hall is they or other members of their household are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or know that they have been in contact with it and are self isolating.
NB Children should not come in if they have had a raised temperature, diarrhoea or vomiting until they have been symptom free for 48 hours.
